Alternative Fuels: the non-oil variety

The world is starting to reach a tipping point in the fuel it receives, with high oil prices and uncertain prospects for the Middle East, people are starting to look for alternatives. These alternative fuels have remained at the bottom of the barrel until recently, a lot of renewable energy is becoming more efficient and cost-effective to produce and should then be used more widely around the world for transportation and other industrial uses.
