One of the most controversial topics in the modern world is undoubtedly artificial intelligence. In the distant future, machines will probably have more influence on human life than they do today, many people worry that this will lead to consequences they don’t want to see (the destruction of all humanity is often mentioned), you know, Like in the Terminator movies. As a result, we need to examine how close or remote those “dark future” scenarios are and what we can do to avoid them. This course is an attempt to understand what AI means and what we can expect and to identify possible threats and consider the beneficial promises of artificial intelligence.
