Heavy or dense?

Dense used as a physics term, saying that one body is denser than another, when in the same volume it contains a greater amount of matter: gold is denser than silver, because two bars of these metals being of equal volume, the one of gold weighs much more than silver and thick or heavy corresponds to thick or solid; to the thickness or thickness of any solid body.

So the word heavy is often confused with dense. Heavy refers to the total amount of mass, while dense refers to the amount of mass per unit volume.

If you are one of those who like to learn more through practice because you like to live in every sense the processes through the realization of experiments to understand the topics a little more in depth then the laboratory that I have for you today will be the perfect way to understand both concepts with the following experiment to understand the difference between the two terms what we need will be:

  1. Two oranges, one with peel and one peeled
  2. A large container, pot or container
  3. Water

Let’s watch the video below and follow step by step, have fun!
